Club Competition Rules.
We are now revising the rules of the Club Championship, there will be 4 round in the competition. 2 Digital rounds and 2 print rounds.
Digital Round 1:
- Black and White Image
- Colour Image.
Print round 1:
- 3 mounted prints any topic/style.
- Entries can re-use ONE image from digital round one in this round in print form but must have at least 2 new unique prints.
Digital round 2:
- 2 images open that have not been entered into the competition previously (including print rounds)
Print round 2:
- Entrants may use a maximum of 2 prints from previous print round and at most 1 image from Digital round 2.
- Entrants must have 1 unique/new image in this round.
Prints must be mounted on a backing board measuring 16″x20″ (41cm x 51cm).3. The image size is your choice, but as a guide A4, 8″x10″ would be a reasonable size.
In the digital rounds pictures will be judged out of a maximum of 5 points.
In print round one images will be judged out of a maximum of 10 by one Judge.
In print round two images will be judged out of a maximum of 10 each by 2 Judges.
You can get images mounted in any ‘framing shop’.Liam Manning located at ‘Picturesque’, Unit 4, Enterprise Center, Bishopgate Street, Mullingar will do this.Liam will charge 9 euro for a print fully mounted on a backing board and a window mount, less for a print on backing board only.

Note:If you are a new member and you do not have sufficient images to enter a round. You may enter less as it is good to get feedback from the judge.
Entering the Club Competition
All images digital and print must be submitted a week in advance of the competition, as images have to delivered to the outside judge/judges.
Images must be delivered with 2500 pixels on the longest side.
Image names must be followed as such or entries will be disqualified.

Member numbers to be given out upon full payment of the club membership.
The images are judged by an ‘outside judge’. No names are read out when images are being judged – it’s all anonymous.A record of the marks and comments will be taken of the judges before the night of the competition publicly announced on the nights.
The second print round is held after Xmas.
